What we actually do each month

Test, then update

Core, theme, and plugin updates run on a staging copy first. If something breaks, it breaks where nobody can see it.

Back up and verify

Offsite backups on a schedule that matches your plan, retained so you can roll back to a known good state.

Watch for trouble

Uptime monitoring, malware scanning, and file integrity checks. If something goes wrong we usually know before you do.

Keep it fast

Caching configuration, image optimization, and database cleanup so the site does not quietly get slower.

Fix and improve

Your included time covers real work: content edits, layout fixes, new sections, small features. It does not roll over, so use it.

Report plainly

Management plan questions

Do I have to have built my site with you?

No. We take on sites built by other agencies. We start with an audit so we know what we are inheriting, and we will tell you upfront if something needs fixing before a plan makes sense.

Is hosting included?

Managed hosting is included on Growth and Scale. On Essential you keep your own host and we work with it. See our hosting options if you would rather move.

What if my site gets hacked?

Malware cleanup is included on Growth and Scale. On Essential we quote the cleanup separately, but the monitoring that catches it is already part of the plan.

What happens to unused development time?

It does not roll over. The included hours cover ongoing improvements, so the plans are priced assuming you use them. If you routinely need more, moving up a tier costs less than buying hours ad hoc.

Can I cancel?

Any time, with no exit fee. Your site and its backups are yours. We will hand over cleanly rather than make leaving awkward.

Why not just use a $30 plugin service?

Automated services push updates without testing and have nobody to call when one breaks something. That is fine for a hobby site. If your site brings in business, the difference is a person who understands it.
